Government, Industry and Community Groups should contact the Centre direct on 9360 7310.

You will see

  • sustainable buildings and computerised building management systems
  • grey-water recycling systems
  • water wise & sustainable garden ideas
  • permaculture gardens and orchard
  • eco-lodge
  • grid-interactive solar power systems
  • wind turbine
  • innovative irrigation systems
  • waste management options
  • worm farms
  • native nursery
  • bush regeneration
  • recycling options
  • frogs, chickens, ducks, quenda and many native birds
  • and much more

Special seminars can be organised depending on your needs. Extensive grounds offer a pleasant place to have lunch or a follow up meeting. Our solar-passive seminar room is also available for hire.

For School or TAFE groups we are co-located with Greenskills Inc and Eco-jobs: ready to help you find work, get a project off the ground or find environmental training options.

As the ETC is a not-for-profit organisation which relies on research grants and special funding to operate we must charge for some services. We aim to be equitable and are always prepared to negotiate our rates. The higher charges for Corporate and Government tours allows us to offer tours to community groups and schools at a much reduced rate. If your community or school group would like to visit the etc, but the charge would proclude you from doing so, please ring the office to discuss a fee-waiver.

While we enjoy having casual day visitors to the ETC, it is not always possible for us to give the casual unannounced visitor private tours or free consultancy services. Mondays and Wednesdays are good days for casual visitors to drop by.
