| Growing Trees for Shade and Shelter

During 2002/2003 the RADG is working with Kija communities in the Kimberley region to develop native plant nurseries and landscaping projects. The project is supported by Argyle Diamnd Mines who hope to benefit by purchasing the seedlings grown for revegetation of their minesite. The Glen Hill community is also being trained by RADG to process organic food wastes from Argyle for conversion to worm castings as a fertiliser for the seedlings.
