| Wendy Green finalist in WA Young Achiever of the Year Awards
| outstanding science student recognised

Wendy Green recent graduate of Murdoch University and ongoing consultant and project officer with the ETC has been named a finalist in the Young Achiever of the Year award in the Science category. Wendy was the recipient of last year's AWA Undergraduate Water Prize (see picture) and has received numerous other academic awards during her undergraduate studies at Murdoch University.

The aims and objectives of the Western Australian Young Achiever Awards is to encourage, reward and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Western Australian in the 14 to 26 year old age group.

The 2005 Western Australian Young Achiever Awards is an Awards Program designed to recognise, encourage and reward WA's most vital resource, young Western Australians.

The Awards recognise the achievements of youth, culminating at the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner in the naming of the seven category Award winners and the overall State winner, the " Western Australian Young Achiever of the Year " at the Sheraton Perth Hotel on Friday December 16, 2005.
