greg knibbs who runs the very successful intensive permaculture design certificate course here at the etc has agreed to run a special short introduction to permaculture and organic gardening as part of the centre's open garden weekend.

running from 10:30 am through to 3:30 pm the short course will focus on the basics of organic and permaculture gardening [looking at soil types, plant selection, water requirements, companion planting, pioneer planting, zoning, basic landscape architecture, composting, vermicomposting and much more].
